Haj pilgrims must be vaccinated against Covid-19
The Saudi Ministry of Health has announced that those who wish to perform the annual Haj pilgrimage this year will need to provide proof that they have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
The government says it will consider the Covid-19 vaccination as “the main condition for participation” in the five-day pilgrimage, which starts at the end of July.
The statement did not specify whether the Haj would again exclude pilgrims from outside Saudi to prevent the contagion.
