The Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs announced the opening of electronic registration for the upcoming Hajj season, which commenced on Sunday, 3rd November at 9am and will close on Friday, November 22, 2024, at midnight.
The committee urged all prospective pilgrims to register promptly to secure priority in application submission through the official electronic Hajj platform, haj.gov.bh.
Individuals can register either independently or in groups of up to five people, including the primary applicant.
Outlining the registration process, the committee explained that applicants will use their electronic keys for access.
They can then submit their Hajj registration requests and fill in their personal details.
Initial application
Importantly, no documents need to be attached when completing this initial application via the platform.
The committee emphasized that registering is considered a preliminary request, pending eligibility verification.
Applicants who meet the criteria will receive a text notification to finalize their registration in coordination with their chosen Hajj campaign.
This includes paying a fee of BD150 per person through the platform, which will be credited toward the total cost of the selected Hajj package.
