Illegal Taxi At Bahrain International Airport: Two Arrested, Vehicles Seized

Police have arrested two Asian nationals for transporting passengers from Bahrain International Airport without taxi permits, seizing the vehicles involved in the operation.

The Attorney General and Head of the Traffic Prosecution stated that the Public Prosecution received reports from the General Traffic Directorate about the illegal taxi drivers.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to their crimes when confronted with evidence. Prosecutors have ordered their pre-trial detention pending investigation and their referral to criminal trial.

The Head of the Prosecution emphasized the importance of adhering to legislation regulating passenger transport activities, which mandates obtaining the necessary licenses from relevant authorities.
