India records 234,692 new Covid-19 cases, 1,341 deaths
India’s Health Ministry on Saturday has reported 234,692 new Covid-19 cases — the highest single-day spike yet — pushing the country’s overall tally to 14,526,609.
Approximately 1,341 people died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s death toll to 175,649.
A total of 1,23,354 patients recovered, taking the total recoveries to 12,671,220, with a recovery rate of 87.23%.
