India registers 234 deaths; 18,138 cases in 24 hours
Indian health authorities announced on Friday that 234 people died due to COVID-19 as 18,139 positive cases were registered from across the country in the last 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that COVID-19 fatalities mounted to 150,570 as the total number of positive cases rose to 10,413,417.
The Indian health ministry said that 10,037,398 people recovered from the pandemic as far as it spread to 35 Indian states. Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh contribute to most of the active cases in the country.
