India reports 492 deaths; 43,082 positive cases
Indian government authorities said on Friday that 492 people succumbed to COVID-19 while 43,082 positive cases were registered from different parts of the country in a span of 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that fatalities due to the coronavirus mounted to 135,715 while the total number of cases rose to 9.309,787.
According to the health ministry 8.718,517 people recuperated from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are the worst hit Indian states.
