Bahrain: LuLu opens new store with all-female employees
Lulu Group, one of the leaders in the retail sector, has joined hands with the Housing Ministry and opened its first LuluXpress Fresh Market, adding a new dimension to Lulu Group’s commitment to serving the newly developed areas in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on Wednesday opened the Lulu Group’s 10th outlet in Danat Al Lawzi, Hamad Town in line with its expansion plans.
The outlet is managed and operated by an all-female staff. New concepts like self-checkout counters are also introduced.
The 2,000 square metre stores will serve the community with a range of groceries, fresh daily produce such as vegetables and meat as well as an in-house bakery and the popular Lulu Hot Foods range of freshly prepared food.
