The new flight service is scheduled to commence from October 1, 2022.
Vistara, a joint venture between Indian conglomerate Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, will also offer special introductory roundtrip fares of $222 (AED 799), $288 (AED 1,199) and $576 (AED 3,999) for the economy, premium economy and business class respectively.
The airline will deploy its A320neo aircraft to operate the daily flights between the two cities.
Vinod Kannan, chief executive officer of Vistara, said the carrier was delighted to expand its presence in the UAE with direct connection to a second emirate, one of the busiest international routes from India.
“We are confident that greater connectivity between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi will complement the growing trade and tourism between the two countries,” Kannan said.
