Indian Prime Minister Tweets About Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister responded to a tweet issued by India’s Prime Minister, His Excellency Narendra Modi, in which the Prime Minister recognised Bahrain’s rooted values of religious moderation and peaceful coexistence.

Prime Minister tweeted, “Bahrain is a model of religious moderation and peaceful coexistence where Mahatma Gandhi’s principles are embodied. The walls of Arad Castle were chanted with Noor singing.”

Mr. Modi included a link in his tweet featuring a song of Indian heritage being conducted by a Bahraini artist named Noor.


HRH the Crown Prince responded to the tweet in both Arabic and English saying: “We are proud of Bahrain’s long and rich heritage of moderation and peaceful coexistence. I hope you can see her soon in person at a special concert at Arad Fort.”
