India reports 414 deaths; 29,398 positive cases
The Indian government today said Friday that 414 people died of COVID-19 as 29,398 positive cases were reported from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that deaths due to COVID-19 rose to 142,186 while the total number of coronavirus cases Amounted to 9.796,769.
The health ministry said that 9.290,834 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are the worst hit Indian states.
