NPCI International Payments (NIPL), the global arm of National Payment Corporation of India, has collaborated with Benefit, Bahrain’s leading company in Fintech and electronic financial transactions service, to enable RuPay at ATMs and Point of Sale (PoS) terminals across the Kingdom.
RuPay is the first-of-its-kind Global Card payment network from India, conceived and operated by the National NPCI.
The collaboration will see Indian travellers transact via their RuPay cards across 515 ATMs and 40K Point of Sale (PoS) terminals in Bahrain.
Benefit will be working with their Member Acquirers to ensure enablement of all NPCI’s Issuer Identification numbers (IINs) on all card acceptance channels in its network.
