2024 Saudi Open: LIV Golf And DP World Tour Stars Go Head-to-Head

The 2024 Saudi Open, presented by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), returns from April 17 to 20, featuring a star-studded line-up of global top-notch golfers.

LIV Golf star Henrik Stenson, accompanied by five of his comrades, will join the tournament, as will a host of top golfers from the DP World Tour.

Among them is the four-time champion Rafa Cabrera-Bello, who will spearhead the tournament alongside Asian Tour players.

This year’s tournament, entering its ninth edition, transforms into a fully-fledged Asian event.

The previous edition witnessed Thai star Denwit Boriboonsub claim victory; he will strive to defend his championship title during this tour.

Anticipation runs high for another triumphant chapter in the tournament’s history.

Golf enthusiasts will once again be treated to the remarkable talents of LIV Golf stars, particularly Andy Ogletree, Peter Uihlein, David Puig, and Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra.

Puig will join Stenson, along with his former European Ryder Cup teammate Cabrera-Bello, adding further allure to the Riyadh tour.

Puig, who clinched the season-opening Malaysian Open, currently sits atop the Asian Tour’s prestigious order of merit, surpassing the likes of American John Catlin, the recent victor of the International Series Macau presented by Wynn.

The DP World Tour will be represented by stars of its own, along with former Ryder Cup luminaries Cabrera-Bello and Thorbjorn Olesen.

Once again, Golf Saudi demonstrates its unwavering commitment to inclusivity by extending invitations to Saudi and Arab golfers, ensuring opportunities for all to compete in this prestigious tournament.
