The Indian Airline SpiceJet has recently launched a daily non- stop flight between Hyderabad and Jeddah, making Jeddah its ninth international destination and third destination in the Middle East.
The new budget flight service from Hyderabad aims to benefit thousands of pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia with the airlines providing an unparalleled experience to all their guests, said CEO Ajay Singh.
Jeddah, the second largest city of Saudi Arabia, is also the country’s commercial capital, lays in close proximity to the pilgrim destinations of Makkah and Madinah and its King Abdulaziz International Airport acts as one of the main transit points for thousands of Hajj Pilgrims and tourists across the globe.
The news service enables Spice Jet to provide over 2500 seats per week with full-fledged packages catering to more than 500,000 Umrah guests. The packages encompass a multitude of service including transportation, tickets, accommodation, and tours, to encourage visitors of the Holy Mosques and to explore the Kingdom’s touristic sites.
SpiceJet is proposed to introduce its second frequency to Jeddah, a daily direct flight to Kozhikode effective from April 20, 2019.
The Management ensures to benefit thousands traveling between the two cities for pilgrimage, business or leisure.
The team also expressed confidence that with more destinations being opened from Jeddah to various airports in India, it would help a large number of Indians and Saudis to travel between India and Saudi Arabia.
