UAE Is the Nation Most Arab Youth Want To Live In

UAE has been named as the country that most Arab youth would like to live in and their own to emulate for the 12th year running. One in four young Arabs across 18 Arab states has ranked UAE highly followed by US and Canada.

The 15th annual ASDA’A BCW Arab Youth Survey, the largest study of the Arab world’s demographic, unveiled the findings of a large sample survey of its over 200 million youth.

Over 24 per cent of Arab youth between the ages of 18 to 24 identified UAE as the country they would most like to live in, followed by the US (19 per cent), Canada (19 per cent), Qatar (14 per cent), and the United Kingdom (13 per cent).

The UAE was identified by 22 per cent of Arab youth, men and women. Factors that account for the UAE’s favoured nation status are:

Safety and security (14 per cent)
Growing economy (28 per cent)
Effective and ‘visionary’ leadership (24 per cent)
