UAE: Massive fire erupts at a warehouse in Sharjah
Firefighters are battling a massive fire that erupted in a warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area.
Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director general of Sharjah Civil Defence, confirmed to Gulf News that the operation room was informed about the incident around 8pm on Sunday.
Thick black plumes of smoke billowing from the warehouse can been seen from a distance.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.
