Kuwait recorded 230 new coronavirus cases and six deaths on Monday, raising the total number of cases to 144,599 and deaths to 897.
There are 84 patients in ICU, as the total number of patients still receiving medical care reached 3,361, ministry’s official spokesman told KUNA in a statement.
The minister added that 4,626 swabs were taken, raising the total number of swabs to 1,146,420.
The Ministry of Health earlier said that 306 patients had recovered the virus, bringing the tally to 140,341.
