Kuwait: 3 nurses infected with coronavirus, 9 quarantined
Three nurses from a hospital affiliated with Al-Sabah Medical District were infected with the coronavirus, and they were referred to Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital, according to Arab Times.
The source said that 9 nurses were quarantined in their homes who came in contact with the infected persons the swabs were taken from them to determine whether they were infected with the virus.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health reported 215 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections yesterday, bringing the tally to 2,614, while one death was reported. The total number of deaths reached 15.
During its daily briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 60 patients were in intensive care, 27 of them were in critical condition. Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 1,986 patients, said the spokesperson.
