Kuwait: 440 Nationals Resigned from Ministry

Minister of Information and State Minister for Youth Affairs, Mohammad Al- Jabri revealed that 440 Kuwaitis resigned from the ministry during the period from 2016 to 2018. He clarified that these employees resigned based on their own desire, and mostly without specifying any reasons.

In response to a parliamentary question submitted by MP Khalil Al-Saleh, Al-Jabri said that 31 employees resigned from Kuwait News Agency(KUNA) during this period based on their request, stressing that the reasons are varied. He indicated that KUNA did not request any increment to the salaries of the Kuwaiti employees working in KUNA or any additional benefits due to implementation of the rationalization policy adopted by the government and based on the decisions and circulars issued by it.
