Kuwait: 857 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths recorded

The Ministry of Health announced 857 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 91,244 while 2 deaths were reported raising the number fatalities to 548.

Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said the breakdown of cases over areas was as followed: 226 in Hawally, 208 in Ahmadi, 156 in Farwaniya, 152 in the Capital and 115 in Jahra.

89 people were in the intensive care units and the number of people receiving treatment was 9,042.
