Kuwait announces 635 coronavirus cases; seven deaths

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health announced that 635 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total caseload to 110,076.   

The ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), said that seven infected patients had passed away, raising the death toll to 649.

He also pointed out, 125 are currently receiving treatment in the ER, as the total number of patients hospitalized is 7,403. In the last 24-hours, 3,922 tests have been administered to a total 776,733 samples taken for lab testing.

The Health Ministry revealed earlier 710 patients have recovered in the last 24-hours, to total 102,024 patients recovered to-date from the virus.
