Chocolate consumption in Kuwait decreased by 41% in 2021 after being at the forefront of consumption of this commodity region which was 3 kilograms on average per person annually.
This was due to the precautionary measures imposed by the health authorities during 2021 following the closure of many activities and events such as weddings, receptions and various others that were a big outlet for chocolate consumption.
