Kuwait confirms 454 new cases; 877 recoveries

The health authorities in Kuwait today confirmed a total of 454 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections over the past 24 hours.

In a statement reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 7 people who tested posted for the virus had passed away, bringing the death toll due to the pandemic to 296 since the pandemic broke out.

The Ministry of Health had confirmed the recovery of 877 additional Covid-19 patients, bringing the overall count of recoveries to 26,759 so far.
