Kuwait: Cost of Hiring Domestic Labour Doubles

According to Al Jarida daily, the cost of hiring domestic workers from abroad through domestic labour recruitment offices has increased remarkably from KD750.

Sources said the cost of turning over domestic workers to their sponsors reached KD1,500; attributing the recent increase to the lack of knowledge of a ministerial decision obligating domestic labour recruitment offices to define the cost.
