China and Hong Kong Nationals Not Allowed to Enter Kuwait

Kuwait has taken strict measures against deadly coronavirus, especially those arriving from Asian countries. The General Administration of Civil Aviation continues strict health security plans to deal with travelers especially coming in from China and East Asia. 

A decision is taken to deny entry to any Chinese who visited China in the past two weeks even if he has a valid residence permit. The decision issued by the General Administration of Civil Aviation states that anyone who holds any of the nationalities of China and Hong Kong is forbidden to enter Kuwait, and it also forbids entry to all nationalities who were present in the Republic of China and Hong Kong during the past two weeks, This is to preserve the health security of the country until further notice.

 A source at the airport clinic of the Ministry of Health revealed that since the ministry took its steps and installed thermal cameras, “we have not detected any injury or suspicion with travelers.”

 He talked about the mechanism of work, saying, “The traveler whose temperature is high is transferred to the clinic as a precaution. After examining and showing the correct result, he is given a paper that he is healthy. As for the suspect, he is quarantined and transferred to communicable diseases, but so far no case has been detected.
