Kuwait: Expats above 60 Kuwait likely to get work permits renewed

Expatriates above 60 who hold no university degree and are still in Kuwait are likely to get their work permits renewed after a government agency last week invalidated a contested ban on their employment, a local newspaper has said.

The Legal Advice and Legislation Department has invalidated the decision, issued by the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) in August last year, had no legal basis, clearing the way for scrapping the ban.
