Kuwait: Expats to Pay KD 2.5 for Medical

The CEO of the Health Insurance Hospitals Company ‘Daman’ Dr Muhammad Al-Qana’i said the medical centres in Hawalli and Al-Farwaniya will receive the expatriates and called on everyone to experience the quality of the services provided by these centres stressing the current prices are appropriate and affordable, and that the Daman health centres will receive those covered by all insurance companies soon.

He explained the health insurance system will benefit the residents. Initially, an expatriate will have to pay only two-and-half dinars in fees, including consultations, analyzes, examinations and X-rays, even transfer fees to the hospital for additional checks.

He indicated that the opening of the Daman Center in Farwaniya is considered a continuation of the next series of openings, noting that the completion rate in the Daman Centers in Ahmadi and Jahra has exceeded 35 percent, and that handing them over and operating is expected to be by September 2021.
