The first group of domestic workers who returned to Kuwait left after completing the institutional quarantine period in a hotel in the country today, Al-Rai daily reported.
The sources confirmed that the first group left after being subjected to the last pcr test to check their coronavirus status, and all their results came out negative.
The first Kuwait Airways flights carrying domestic workers under the return plan arrived from the Philippines on 15 December. The passengers came from one of the 34 countries on a banned list from where flights are not permitted to enter the country.
However, before later flights could be scheduled, commercial flights to and from Kuwait Airport were suspended leading to the halt in facilitating the return of domestic workers.
