Eleven sites – vital installations and buildings housing American and British forces and the diplomatic missions of the two friendly countries – have been placed under tight security control to prevent any risks to them given the current volatile situation in the region.

An integrated team has been formed from all sectors of the security services in the Ministry of Interior to oversee the strategy and ensure security and ward off danger. Sources stressed that the country is completely safe.

The security services continue with the implementation of the massive deployment plan to tighten security around vital installations and buildings which also include residences of foreign officials and diplomats.
