Kuwait increases gap between Pfizer vaccine doses

Due to shortages and delays in receiving the vaccines, Kuwait’s Ministry of Health decided to extend the interval between the two doses of vaccines.

The gap between two doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be increased to six weeks. However, the interval will remain 3 weeks for those above 60 years, and those suffering from chronic diseases.

In a press statement, the ministry said this decision will apply to everyone who received the first dose of the Pfizer/Biotech vaccine on or after Monday, May 3, 2021.
