Kuwait: No paper exams until vaccine made available

The Kuwaiti health authorities have rejected a request from the Education Ministry on holding paper examinations as the country is battling to stem the coronavirus, a local newspaper reported Thursday.

The Health Ministry has demanded that all tests at all education levels be conducted online until vaccines against the coronavirus are made available, Undersecretary of the Health Ministry Dr. Mustafa Reda said.

“In view of the repercussions of the epidemiological situation, the spread of the coronavirus and concerted efforts to limit its effects and perils, the Health Ministry is of the view that tests for all students at all education levels in the current period must be conducted online until the health situation becomes stable in the country and until the availability of the necessary vaccines against COVID-19,” Dr. Reda added.
