Kuwait’s cabinet last week approved a 3-stage plan to restart commercial flights in Kuwait Airport starting from August 1, 2020.

Informed sources revealed that departees from Kuwait Airport will be granted a medical certificate at the airport medical laboratory, confirming their COVID- negative status, for a fee.

This is in light with several countries requiring travellers to hold PCR test certificates showing that they have been tested negative for COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health’s protocol for arriving and departing Kuwaiti citizens and expats will also be implemented at the Kuwait International Airport.
