Kuwait records 414 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death
Kuwait has today confirmed 414 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 154,314 cases.
The Ministry said that one infected patient had passed away, raising the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic to 943.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 3,801, with 55 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who revealed that some 12,279 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1,300,034.
The ministry had earlier reported that 279 infected patients had recovered in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 149,007.
