Kuwait registers 530 coronavirus cases; Tally at 99,964
Kuwait on Monday reported 530 new COVID-19 cases and one fatality, raising the tally of infections to 99,964 and the death toll to 585.
Currently, 8,449 patients are receiving treatment, including 93 in ICU, the Health Ministry said.
The ministry also announced the recovery of 762 more patients, taking the total number of recovered cases in the country to 90,930.
On September 14, the Kuwaiti government decided to postpone the fifth phase of a plan to return to normal until further notice.
During the fifth phase, theatres and cinemas would be allowed to reopen and all social events would resume.
