Out of 10,659 tests the Ministry of Health recorded 1,021 new COVID-19 cases and reported seven deaths on Friday.
There are currently 10,523 active cases, out of which, 122 are receiving treatment in ICU.
The ministry announced that a total of 642 more patients have recovered from COVID-19, pushing the total number of recoveries in the country to 164,537.
