Kuwait reports 312 coronavirus cases and 273 recoveries

Kuwait reported 312 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 152,027 cases.

The Ministry said that infected patients had passed away, keeping the death toll since the the outbreak of the pandemic at 938.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 3,305, with 55 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who revealed that some 5,180 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1.277,197. 

 The ministry had earlier reported that some 273 more people had been cured from the virus over the past day, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 147,784.
