Kuwait reports 371 coronavirus cases; 5 deaths
Kuwait’s Ministry of Health announced that 371 people have tested positive for the coronavirus while five persons died of the pandemic over the past 24 hours.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), said total registered cases reached 106,458while deaths topped 620.
Earlier today, the MoH said that 509 people have recovered from coronavirus in the past 24 hours to raise the total of recoveries to 97,197.
The number of people needing hospital care stands at 7,403, 129 of whom are in intensive care units, said ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who revealed that 1,990 swab tests were conducted in the past day out of a total of 755,765 so far.
The ministry had earlier registered 537 new recoveries to up the total to 98,435.
