Kuwait reports 622 coronavirus cases, 2 deaths
Kuwait today recorded 622 further cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a decrease of 53 against the tally reported the day before, taking the country’s overall infections to 78,767.
The Health Ministry also announced two more deaths from COVID-19, bringing Kuwait’s total such fatalities to 509.
There are 94 patients receiving intensive care treatment, the ministry said on its Twitter account
Kuwait’s total virus tests have climbed to 577,588 after 4,337 tests have been done over the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
The ministry also said that 871 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, bringing to 70,642 the overall number of recoveries from the disease in Kuwait.
Kuwait has recently eased virus-related curbs.
