Coronavirus: Kuwait reports 630 new cases, 4 fatalities

Kuwait has recorded 630 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the country’s infection tally to 33,140 the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported Tuesday.

The Health Ministry also announced four more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total such fatalities in the country to 273.

All the new cases were in contact with previously infected people or are being investigated for sources of infection, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said in a media update.

The Health Ministry earlier Monday reported that 920 more patients have recovered from the disease over the past 24 hours, bringing to 22,162 the total of such recoveries in the country.
