Kuwait Reports 7 Deaths, 505 New Coronavirus Cases

Kuwait has recorded 505 further cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the country’s infection tally to 39,650 the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported Sunday.

The Health Ministry also announced seven more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total such fatalities in Kuwait to 326.

All the new cases were in contact with previously infected people or are being investigated for sources of infection, the ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said in a media update.

514 people previously infected have also fully recovered, taking total recoveries to 31,240.
