Kuwait Locks Down Two Areas; Extends Curfew
Kuwait’s Cabinet has decided to impose a total lockdown on some areas for the next two weeks.
The Cabinet has also extended the curfew countrywide from 5 pm until 6 am, until further notice.
They also extended a holiday that was supposed to end this week until April 23 as part of the country’s efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Under the measures, work at ministries, government departments and public establishments will be suspended from next Sunday until April 23 and resume on the 26th of April.
