Kuwait: Temporary Housing for 25,000 Expats Proposed

Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works is planning to erect temporary dwellings for some 25,000 expatriate laborers working at the Health Ministry under contract as part of the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), reported Kuna.

A field inspection will be conducted to make sure that the temporary dwellings were up to proper living standards, stated the report.

The decision was taken during a meeting with Health Ministry representatives, it added.
