Kuwait to allow expats to enter after two-week travel ban

As per the Kuwait government decision, non-Kuwaitis will be able to travel to Kuwait as of February 21 after a two-week ban was put in place to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

This does not apply to the 35 ‘high risk countries’ as passengers travelling from those countries will not be allowed to travel directly to Kuwait.

Both citizens and residents looking to arrive in Kuwait will need to quarantine in a hotel for the first seven days at their own expense. Prior to their departure to Kuwait, all passengers must register on the Kuwait Mosafer application.

Once passengers have completed their seven-day quarantine at the hotel, they must quarantine for an additional seven days at home.
