Kuwait To Cancel 2,400 Teacher Visas – Report

Kuwait will cancel the work permits of around 2,400 teachers and replace them with Kuwaitis according to reports in local media.

A report in the Al Qabas newspaper claims education authorities in the country have called on the Interior Ministry to cancel the residency permits of around 1,900 teachers.

A further 500 teachers have resigned said the newspaper, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

The teachers have been given three months to settle dues and status in the country.
