Bahrain’s Public Prosecution has sentenced two defendants to life imprisonment for allegedly conspiring with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to carry out hostile and terrorist acts against Bahrain and harm its interests.

In separate cases, three other defendants were sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for allegedly supporting and promoting what authorities described as Iranian terrorist acts against Bahrain.
