Houthis Claim Attack on Saudi Aramco Refinery in Jazan

The Houthis have claimed responsibility for an attack on Saudi Aramco’s Jazan refinery, where a fire broke out early Sunday.

Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry said the fire was extinguished with no injuries reported, while Aramco’s industrial security teams brought the blaze under control.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the attack was carried out in response to what he described as a Saudi “breach” of the airspace over Yemen’s Saada and Hajjah provinces.

The Saudi Energy Ministry has not disclosed the cause of the fire.
