U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, saying there would be severe consequences if Tehran backs out of negotiations again.

“If they back out again, they’re going to get hit really hard… they can’t have a nuclear weapon, it’s very simple.”

The remarks come amid continued tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme and ongoing diplomatic efforts.
