Magnitude 5.3 earthquake strikes Oman 415km from Salalah

An earthquake with a 5.3 magnitude was reported to have struck Oman, 415 kilometres away from Salalah in the Arabian Sea today, at 9:46 am local time.

Earthquake Monitoring Centre at Sultan Qaboos University (EMCSQ) mentioned that the epicentre of the earthquake was 10 kilometres deep.
