With the current hostile situations taking over the Middle East, and the safety of the public being a topic of concern, the Government of Bahrain has closed many major bus routes to ensure the public’s safety.
Here is the rundown of which buses will not ply on Bahrain’s roads, and which bus routes will remain operational.
- Routes A2, A1, 10, 11 will not serve the Airport.
- The Indian embassy bus stop will also remain closed, with routes 10 and 11 skipping Mina Salman.
- The buses plying on Route 43 will not serve Juffair and Mina Salman, with a diversion set in place to divert oncoming traffic.
- Routes 15 and 16 will not be serving A’ali and Buri, with Routes 43, 44, and 45 running at reduced service.
- Routes A2, 23, 23S will not be serving the Seef Area or King Abdullah Road.
- The Seef Mall Service remains normal, while buses from Manama stop at the City Centre.
- Route 20 will not serve Nuwaidrat, instead terminating at Sh. Jaber Highway.
- Route 23 will skip the Nakheel Highway and Bahrain Fort, instead operating via Seef and Budaiya Highway.
- Buses plying on X65 will bypass Sitra, following the Sh. Jaber Highway similar to the ones on X4.
- Route 16 will not be serving Malkiya, Karzakan and Sadad, instead traveling along Route 14.
