A 43-year-old man is in custody after the Southern Governorate Police Directorate linked him to the vandalism of a vehicle in Sanad, where he allegedly smashed the glass and made off with BD9,000.
The suspect is also believed to have damaged other vehicles in the area.
The police acted quickly after receiving multiple reports, launching an investigation that led to the suspect’s identification and arrest.
Authorities have indicated that he may be involved in similar thefts across other governorates. The suspect will soon face the Public Prosecution.
