Saudi Arabia records 1,045 new Covid-19 cases, 9 deaths

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday recorded 1,045 new Covid-19 infection and nine related deaths, according to the Ministry of Health.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 414,219 and the virus-related fatalities to 6,922.

No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.

The ministry also reported 983 recoveries, raising the total number recoveries to 397,587.

Riyadh recorded the highest number of new cases with 419 infections followed by Makkah with 221 and the Eastern region with 155.

According to the ministry, there were 9,710 active cases and 1,277 were in critical condition.
